Save the recipe

Save the recipe#

Once all component setups have been completed, the last step before proceeding to create the models is to save the recipe.

1

Access the section ../../../_images/tasto_recipes.png using the top button

2

Enter the name of the recipe.

Use a descriptive name (e.g: “Basic_Recipe”).

Do not use special characters or spaces (use underscores _ instead of spaces).

3

Rename the duplicate Recipe Recommended conventions:

  • Names that clearly identify the part or application

  • No spaces (use _ or -)

  • Include relevant information (part type, size, application)

Tip

Avoid generic names

❌ Names to avoid:

  • Test, Prova, Ricetta1, Nuova_Ricetta

✓ Recommended names:

  • Prod_Viti_M8_Acciaio

  • Assembly_Connettori_2024

  • QC_Ingranaggi_Serie_X

Warning

Recipe backup

After creating and configuring a recipe:

  • Use the software’s backup function (Backup Management)

  • Periodically export recipes to external media

  • Record critical parameters on paper/digital media

A well-configured recipe represents hours of work. Protecting it properly prevents data loss.
